Your mom has officially banned me from texting you tonight, so consider this a loophole.
Remember Dubai, when they canceled our flight and you built a fort out of our suitcases and called it our first apartment? That was the night I knew. It just took me two more years to say it out loud.
You have seen me at my worst. Food poisoning in Goa, the job that fell through, the year I wore sunglasses indoors. You stayed, and you made fun of me the entire time, which is exactly right.
Tomorrow I promise to keep the chai coming, to lose every argument about the thermostat, and to be in your corner even when you are wrong. Especially when you are wrong.
Now go to sleep. I will be the one crying at the mandap.

Each piece arrives with a passport card. Scan its code to claim the passport with your email and order number.
Claimed by the person who wears it
Bought for yourself, you register it yourself. Received as a gift, you claim it, so the passport is yours from the start.
No password to remember
A secure sign-in link arrives by email. From there you can add photos and memories whenever you like.

The next person inherits its history too
When the piece is passed to a daughter, a son or anyone you choose, the passport goes with it, every entry intact. They receive the jewelry with its story inside it.

Does every piece come with a Piece Passport?
Yes. Every Modern Mangal piece comes with its own passport, a permanent record of what the piece is, where and by whom it was crafted, who wears it and the story it gathers over time.
How does the passport confirm my piece is authentic?
It holds a permanent, secure record of the serial engraved on your piece, its 18K gold, its stone specifications and any IGI or GIA certification. Because the record cannot be quietly altered, it confirms the piece is exactly what we say it is.
How do I claim my passport?
Scan the code on the passport card that arrives in the box with your piece. Enter your email and order number, and a secure sign-in link arrives by email. If it was a gift, the person who received it can claim it.
Can I add my own photos and memories?
Yes, that is the point of it. The first time you wore it, the milestones it was part of, the day you pass it on. Each entry is yours, and each one stays.
What happens if I give the piece as a gift or pass it down?
The passport travels with the piece. A giver’s words and the date are part of it from the start, and when the piece is passed on, every entry goes with it.
Is my passport private?
The passport records the piece, its materials, origin and certification. Personal details are handled under our privacy policy, and we never sell or share them.
