Domestic U.S. Shipping

Modern Mangal proudly offers complimentary two-day shipping via USPS Priority Mail on all orders within the United States, ensuring your items are delivered quickly and securely. While we utilize USPS Priority Mail's two-day service, delays may occur due to factors beyond Modern Mangal's control, such as weather conditions, carrier processing delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Every package requires a signature upon delivery to confirm receipt and safeguard your purchase.

International Shipping

For our global customers, Modern Mangal extends our reach with international shipping available for a standard fee of $200 USD. Items are shipped insured through FedEx International Priority shipping to ensure safe and reliable delivery. As with domestic orders, international shipments also require a signature upon delivery to ensure the items reach you safely. International shipping costs are subject to change without notice based on carrier rate adjustments and destination requirements.

Order Processing

Once an order is placed, it is promptly prepared for shipment. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship in approximately 3 weeks. Ready to Ship pieces ship within 2 business days. If you choose expedited production ($250), your piece ships within 10 business days. Estimated ship dates for each product are shown on the product page and at checkout.

Shipping Notification

Upon dispatch, customers receive an email with a tracking number, allowing you to monitor the progress of your shipment from departure to delivery. Customers can also track the status of their order on the order lookup page found here.

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled at no charge within 24 hours of placement by contacting us through our Contact Us form. After 24 hours and until the piece ships, a $50 cancellation fee applies to every piece, including Ready to Ship. Once a piece has shipped it can no longer be cancelled and our Return & Exchange Policy applies.

Expedited Shipping Options

For a tighter timeline, choose expedited production at checkout ($250) and your piece ships within 10 business days with overnight or 2-day delivery. Ready to Ship pieces already ship within 2 business days and are not eligible for expedited service. This service is ideal for urgent orders or special occasions.

Shipping Conditions and Policies

• Physical Address Requirement: Shipments must be sent to a physical address; deliveries to P.O. Box addresses are not supported due to security reasons.

• Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping addresses. Modern Mangal is not liable for delays, returns, or additional shipping costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses provided by the customer.

• Change of Shipping Address: Send your order number and the new address through our Contact Us form as soon as you can. If your piece has not entered production we can update it right away; if production is underway we will do our best to catch it before it ships. Once a piece has shipped the address cannot be changed, for security.

• Failed Delivery Attempts: For domestic orders, USPS will attempt to deliver the package 2 times and then hold the package at the respective post office for pickup. For expedited or international orders, if FedEx fails to deliver the package after three attempts, it will be returned to Modern Mangal. We will then reach out to arrange an alternative delivery plan or resolve any issues. If not picked up, the package will be returned to us and any reshipping costs will be passed onto the customer.

• Refusal of Delivery: If a customer refuses delivery of their order, the package will be returned to Modern Mangal and the customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable restocking fees.

International Orders

• Duties and Taxes: Duties and taxes are collected at checkout for our items. However, in the case of customs clearances where additional duties and taxes are owed, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay those duties and taxes. This approach ensures transparency in our pricing, but please be prepared for any additional charges that may apply when your order reaches its destination.

• Customs Delays: Modern Mangal is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, inspections, or clearance procedures. Such delays are beyond our control and delivery timeframes do not include customs processing time.

• Supported Countries: We ship to most countries. Pick yours at checkout, and if you do not see it as an option, send us a note through our Contact Us form.

Risk of Loss and Damage Claims

The risk of loss for all items passes to the purchaser once the shipment is handed over to the carrier. This standard industry practice ensures that the carrier is responsible for any damages that occur during shipping. Any claims for damaged or lost items must be reported to Modern Mangal within 48 hours of delivery confirmation or expected delivery date. Claims must include photographic evidence of damage and original packaging when applicable.

Force Majeure

Modern Mangal shall not be liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from acts or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor strikes, material shortages, carrier delays, or other unforeseeable events. In such cases, delivery timeframes may be extended without penalty to Modern Mangal.

Policy Updates

Modern Mangal reserves the right to modify this shipping policy at any time with or without prior notice. Updates will be posted on our website and will apply to all orders placed after the effective date of the changes.
