Warranty Policy

At Modern Mangal, we are committed to providing high-quality jewelry and diamonds to our customers. We guarantee that all jewelry purchased from our website is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. Additionally, the optical properties of our lab-grown diamonds are assured to never fade or cloud over time.

Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

We proudly offer a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty on all our products, applicable from the date of purchase. The warranty stays with the piece from its original purchase date, so it also covers a piece received as a gift. Your Piece Passport holds the record.

Custom Orders Warranty

Custom pieces are covered by the same Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty as our collection pieces, from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Exceptions

Wedding bands and engagement rings, due to their symbolic significance and frequent wear, are covered under our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty.

Exclusions

Our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty does not cover:

  • General wear and tear, scratching, or trauma.
  • Loss of center stones, product loss, or theft.
  • Damage resulting from improper cleaning, storage, or handling.
  • Fading or discoloration of metals over time due to exposure to harsh chemicals or environments.
  • Loss of a stone due to trauma or damage.
  • Any repairs, resizing, or other services performed by third parties not authorized by Modern Mangal.

Warranty Service Process

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, send your order number, a short description and clear photos through our Contact Us form, choosing Warranty and Repair from the dropdown, or email support@modernmangal.com. We reply within one business day. Upon confirming that it is indeed a manufacturing defect, we will send you a payment link to cover the cost of shipping. Once the shipping payment is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item at no additional cost to you. We will also cover the shipping costs to return the item to you if it falls under our warranty.

If the issue is determined to fall outside our warranty coverage, the customer is responsible for shipping the item back to us and for the cost of the repair. We will provide you with a repair quote for your approval before proceeding with any paid repair work. If approved, we will then cover the shipping costs to return the item to you.

Repairs and Maintenance

We offer repair and maintenance services to address regular wear and tear at our US facility. Common repairs include tightening prongs, replacing side stones, re-polishing, and rhodium re-plating. Shipping costs to our facility are your responsibility; we cover the return shipping.

International Orders

Our warranty covers pieces shipped within the United States. International orders are not covered, because of the complexities of duties and taxes, but we are always happy to look at a piece and offer a repair for a quote.
