What is your return policy for U.S. and international customers?
We offer a 14-day return window for all U.S. orders. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 14 days of the delivery date. Please ensure the item is in its original, unworn condition with all original documentation included. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer returns for international customers.
What does your warranty cover?
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for all jewelry purchased from Modern Mangal. Standard items are protected by a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty, while custom orders come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. Both warranties are exclusive to the original purchaser and do not cover general wear and tear, loss, or damage from improper handling.
Can you craft pieces in gold higher than 18K?
We do not offer jewelry crafted in gold higher than 18K. Gold of higher karat, such as 20K or 22K, is softer and less durable, making it unsuitable for daintier pieces. This is why most everyday jewelry is crafted from 14K or 18K gold, which offers better strength and longevity.
Moreover, the color profiles of these higher karat golds do not align with our east-meets-west brand ethos, which prioritizes durability, elegance, and versatility.

How do I track my order?

What are the requirements for shipping addresses?
Shipments must be sent to a physical address; we do not support deliveries to P.O. Box addresses. If an urgent change is needed, please contact us here.
How do I place an international order?

What are the standard and expedited shipping options for domestic US orders and international options?
Modern Mangal offers complimentary 2 Day shipping on all U.S. orders. A signature is required upon delivery to ensure your purchase is secure. We offer Priority Overnight shipping upon request at an additional cost. This option accelerates delivery but does not alter processing times.
Yes, we offer international shipping for a standard fee of $120 USD, which includes full insurance coverage. A signature is required upon delivery. Due to complexities with customs, we cannot guarantee expedited delivery dates for international shipments.
What happens if the shipper is unable to deliver my package?
If delivery fails after three attempts, the package will be returned to Modern Mangal. We will then contact you to arrange an alternative delivery plan, and you will be responsible for the new shipping cost.
Who is responsible for the risk of loss during shipping?
The risk of loss passes to the purchaser once the shipment is handed over to the carrier. The carrier is responsible for any damages during shipping.
Returns & Warranty
Are there any items that are not eligible for return?
Yes, the following items are not eligible for return: custom orders, engraved items, modified items (altered externally, not by Modern Mangal), items showing signs of wear or damage and or international orders.
Please note that we will weigh the jewelry and verify the authenticity of the entire piece, including the diamond or gemstone, against its certificate. If any discrepancies indicate that the piece has been altered or modified, we will be unable to issue a refund.
How much does return shipping cost?
We’ve streamlined our return process with a flat-rate shipping fee of $55.00 USD via FedEx for orders within the US. Please note that return fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from your total purchase amount. Rates for other shipping carriers may vary.
What are the conditions for a successful return?
To ensure a successful return, your item must be broken, in its original, unworn condition, with all original packaging, documentation, and diamond certificates included. Additionally, you must follow the return shipping instructions provided to maintain the insurance coverage on your package. If any part of the packaging is missing or damaged, or if the shipping instructions are not followed, a $100 deduction will be applied to your refund.
We will weigh and verify the authenticity of the item, including the diamond or gemstone, against its certificate. If any discrepancies suggest the piece has been altered, a refund will not be issued.
What are the guidelines for return shipping?
Label and Packaging:
- Place all items, including the jewelry, packaging, and certification, into the provided Modern Mangal mailer box.
- Affix the first page of the provided shipping label to the outer FedEx box.
- Affix the second page of the shipping label to the inner mailer box.
- Ensure both the inner and outer boxes are securely taped shut.
Drop-off Locations:
- Use only FedEx staffed locations for drop-offs. Avoid drop boxes or non-FedEx staffed locations to ensure proper handling.
Following these steps will help ensure your return is insured and safely reaches us.
How long does it take to process my refund?
Upon receiving your return, we will inspect and verify the item within 7 business days. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days to your original payment method, minus any applicable return shipping fees. Please note that custom orders are non-refundable.
How is my warranty voided?
Your warranty is voided for following reasons: it does not cover general wear and tear, scratches, loss of stones, theft, discoloration from exposure to harsh chemicals, or damage from repairs made by unauthorized third parties.
How do I claim warranty service for a manufacturing defect?
If you suspect a manufacturing defect, please contact us. For warranty-covered issues, you will need to cover the shipping cost to send the item to us. We will handle repairs or replacements at no additional charge and cover the return shipping. If the issue is not covered by the warranty, we will provide a quote for the and shipping costs both ways.
Is the warranty valid for international orders?
Unfortunately, we do not offer warranty coverage for international orders due to the complexities of duties and taxes. We recommend customers outside the US to contact us for guidance on repairs and maintenance.
What services are offered for repairs and maintenance?
We provide repair and maintenance services for regular wear and tear, including tightening prongs, replacing side stones, re-polishing, and rhodium re-plating. Please note that shipping costs to and from our US facility are the responsibility of the customer. Before we proceed with any repairs, we will provide you with a quote for both the repair work and the shipping costs.

Do you offer engraving on your jewelry?
We can engrave most pieces, with engravings limited to dates and/or initials. You can add the engraving details when selecting your specifications on the product page. The available options will be provided during the customization process.
How should I care for my jewelry?
To maintain the brilliance and longevity of your jewelry, we recommend regular cleaning with a soft cloth and storing your pieces in a jewelry box when not in use. Although our jewelry is crafted from high-quality gold, many pieces are dainty and can be delicate. To prevent damage, we advise against wearing them during strenuous activities or when exposed to harsh conditions.

What should I know about payment and production for custom pieces?
All custom pieces require full payment before production begins. Once the final design is approved, no further changes can be made without incurring additional costs.
Please note that custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable after production has started. If post-production changes are requested, additional costs will apply based on the nature of the modifications.
